A Little Bit About Me
I am a practising & refective person, have a whacky sense of humour and at times can be serious as needed. I am a realist, I don’t follow the mainstream & with a background in research, I have a notion of what’s real science over media spin after having worked in the NHS & private health care for many years as well as many years of medical clinical research.
Which is why after seeing everything over 20 years in clinic, I had an idea of when the world went mad and I opted to do my own research rather than follow the crowd.
I enjoy travel, walking in the country, baking, crafts, driving to new places & discovering new sights & cuisines. I prefer mountains, seascapes to cities, though I do love old architecture and history, building design and photography.
I can apply myself to all situations but don’t care for shopping, crowds unless I need to inflict that on myself! Shopping is a means to an end.
I have done some work for charity & have performed hajj alhamduLillah but looking to go again if Allah has written it for me.
I don’t look my age, in fact, I have no idea how I got here! Seems like yesterday it was the 90’s but here we are. AlhamduLillah I mostly don’t feel my age 😂

What I Am Looking For
If you put work over your Fard, or pray sometimes then stop here. If by this stage you don’t take your deen seriously, when will you?
Trustworthy, honest, funny, light hearted, patient, but before that, he should be Allah fearing.
Looking for a mature man, into his deen with gheerah, one who knows his rights in a marriage as well as rights of his wife.
I am looking for someone who earns through halal means and knows his duty towards wife, parents and community, so keeps a peaceful home and similar when out & about.
Ideally someone with a sense of humour, patience and a smile, and can cheer people up and be positive. Not someone who is materialistic and lives to work, because life isn’t about having more of this dunya but more of the akhirah. So he is just with family, spends on them as needed and is not stingy with what Allah has provided, as rizq has been written well before our existence.
He needs to be practising so praying Salah x5 day and observes the fasts. . One who knows the Sunnah & applies it. Someone who has character, principles and honesty.
I can’t do lies or mind games. Communication is key to any relationship so yes, you need to talk, express the odd feeling & try to figure women out as we are mentally messed up! If you can handle dealing with women, you should be just fine, not that I am an emotional wreck. I see myself as pragmatic and sensible, use logic and reason before stepping forward.
I want a quiet life, not some Pakistani drama! Life is too short!
